Faculty position opening
North India Baptist Seminary
North India Baptist Seminary invites applications for a full-time faculty member in Theology to teach across our Bachelor of Theology (B.Th), Master of Theology (M.Th), and Master of Divinity (M.Div) programs. We seek a committed scholar-practitioner who combines academic excellence with a heart for ministry formation in the Baptist tradition.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in systematic theology, biblical theology, ethics, and related disciplines at B.Th, M.Th, and M.Div levels
- Advise and mentor students in academic and ministerial formation
- Supervise theses and ministry projects for postgraduate students
- Participate in faculty meetings, chapel, and institutional service
- Contribute to curriculum development and accreditation requirements
Qualifications
Required
- M.Th, M.Div, or equivalent
- Commitment to Baptist distinctives
- Agreement with NIBS statement of faith
Preferred
- Ph.D, Th.D, or D.Min in Theology or related field
- Teaching experience at seminary level
- Pastoral ministry experience
- Publications in theology
- Demonstrated ability to teach in English; proficiency in Hindi/Punjabi is an asset for student engagement
